This record follows the experience of losing yourself within an ancient forest.

A place older than memory.

At first the forest seems gentle. Narrow paths wind between ferns and fallen logs. Shafts of sunlight spill through the canopy and scatter across the ground like stained glass.

But the deeper you go, the more it changes.

The light fades into a pale fog. Tree trunks rise like pillars of a forgotten cathedral, their roots twisting through the earth like buried bones. Shapes shift between the shadows.

Before long the lines between the limbs of the trees and your own start to blur.

Somewhere within the slow pull of the roots at your feet, you realize the path was never meant to lead you out.

Only to bring you home.

Each piece on this record is an arrangement of music by composers who have shaped some of the most enduring worlds in fantasy storytelling. The selections draw from works such as Chrono Trigger, The Legend of Zelda, My Neighbor Totoro, Final Fantasy, and more.
